As your representative, I will focus on three main areas:
Environmental Leadership: Our nation is in desperate need of solutions to environmental problems. Just as Palo Alto led the high-tech revolution, we can serve as a role-model for sustainable practices and technologies. I’m committed to making Palo Alto a leader in renewable energy, green buildings and waste reduction. As Palo Alto leads, the nation will follow.
Balanced Budget: On Council I will work to cut unnecessary spending. Having managed several non-profit organizations, I know how to stretch finances and make every dollar count. I also will focus on revitalizing aging retail centers and looking for creative new revenue sources.
Building Community: Palo Alto’s most valuable resource is its citizens. From youth to seniors, we can do much more to engage people in decisions that guide the future of our community. I look forward to working with you to improve education, reduce traffic and create safe, walkable neighborhoods.
