As a native Palo Altan, I care deeply about our community and am committed to improving our quality of life. This is why I’m running for City Council.
I will bring 20 years of leadership experience to the Council. Some of the accomplishments I’m most proud of include:
- Co-founding several non-profit organizations, including Bay Area Action (now Acterra), Stanford Open Space Alliance and Environmentalists Against War.
- Leading the successful effort to protect the San Mateo County Coast from the environmentally-destructive Devil’s Slide Bypass.
- Working to secure $4 billion in state park and water bonds.
- Leading efforts to protect San Francisquito Creek and the Stanford Foothills.
As your representative, I will focus on three main areas — Environmental Leadership, Balanced Budget and Building Community.
Whether working with state officials or local youth, I have the experience, dedication and patience to get the job done. Please help me bring my leadership skills and our shared values to the City Council.
